Pizza Hut driver shoots down an armed robber and is rewarded with a pink slip

Okay, from my perspective, it's only too bad that the robber wasn't killed.  With him alive, he's going to cost the taxpayers millions of dollars.  And, yes, I'm sure the author of this article is right.  There will be lawsuit upon lawsuit upon countersuit upon countersuit.  Of course, the only one who won't get sued is the robber.  He'll probably end up making out like a bandit.  The driver, James Spiers, did everything right.  Shot the guy.  Got his gun.  Called the police.  Got on his knees and told the police both guns were in his own pockets.  James Spiers for Governor!
